Fox has always been one of my favorite channels to watch on satellite television and over the years the channel has even gotten more respect with the addition of the other channels such as Fox News and Fox Movie Classics. When it comes to my favorite television episode that I had the luxury of watching on www.direct.tv was from ‘King Of The Hill‘, the animated show by Beavis and Butthead creator Mike Judge that was a long time staple on Fox and still runs in syndication to this day.
The episode that I call my favorite is one called ‘Jumping Crack Bass’. Hank Hill was always known as a fisherman and was having a hard time catching bass at the lake. A friend of his was catching fish left and right and told Hank that he needed to go to a local department store and get certain lures to catch the bass. When Hank took the directions to the store, he went the wrong way and ended up in a drug neighborhood. ‘I need some bait’ Hank told the dealer. The dealer gave him crack and Hank went to the lake and was catching fish left and right.
He would eventually get caught buying the drugs and at the end of the show, Hank had to convince the judge that he could catch fish with crack. He ended up catching one little bass and got off the hook. This show was a memorable one and definitely my favorite TV episode that I seen on satellite television.
