People often laughed at me when I tell them Im going out looking for a place to rent. They asked, Why are you going “out” , What are you going to do, walk the streets looking for flyers and signs?
I would normally shrug and say, “OF course not” and take off. But in fact that is exactly what I did. I was never that comfortable trying to navigate through the online classifies trying to figure out which was a real listing and which was going to end up being some scam.
So when I first found Calgary houses for rent , I was understandably excited. The site actually made sense and was completely dedicated to finding a place to rent in Calgary, Alberta!
Ive had my place for awhile now and I discovered via the site. Now, I get to pretend like Im the one “in the know” and when my friends go off apartment hunting I tell them where to search and get to give the smug expression over the fact that they even considered doing it any other way.
I realize its not the most appealing of character traits but I do really appreciate being the one who looks smart. Plus, I got a great apartment so I look like I know what Im talking about now!
